Flooding in Chicago Home

This home in Chicago was flooded during the recent storms. The homeowners were very worried about how the cleanup process would take place. Calling their insurance was the right choice. They were in a flood plain and had insurance for their property.

When water comes into a home from the outside it is vital that all the building materials that had soaked any of it be removed. Outside water is grossly contaminated.

The pictures show how the basement looked after the damaged materials were taken out. The excess water is from the pressure washing and disinfecting of the home.
